“The Pyramid Project”
Business Owner, Director and Architect
Iquitos, Peru (March 2007 – Present)
This exciting project is to build a 24.44m high, floating pyramid
situated at the heart of the Amazon rainforest in Peru
This $5m pyramid is a 7 story hotel, a theatre that houses an audience of 500,
a gymnasium, an Internet Café, a health restaurant and a place of
meditation. It is a shrine to Amazonian shamanism and a spiritual
haven
During a week’s stay visitors will experience a
Personal Development course that draws the best from nutrition, emotional
balance, New Ageism and the esoterical.
Visitors will also be guided into the Amazon jungle to meet the shaman and
learn their secret
The profits from the Pyramid Project are to be used to research
and develop renewable energy, to tackle growing environmental problems in Peru
and to support the people of Iquitos
Conducting business in a third world country and in a second language has been
challenging
“A Study of Shamanism”
Shamanic Apprentice
Iquitos Peru (October 2006 – Present)
Having identified that the main problem mankind faces today is his
disconnect from nature; nutritionally, medically and in a lack of respect
environmentally, I decided that luckily I was in a position to dedicate my life
to tackling this problem
Shamanism is about mankind’s connect to nature and I believe it is in that
domain that we will make useful ground. So, what better place to seek
answers than in the middle of the world’s most diverse natural space?
Here we have a shamanism that has been passed down over the centuries and a
people willing to share their secret
Shamanism teaches a different way to regard reality. It
views the elements of nature as being intelligent, sentient beings that one can
communicate with and that are willing to teach us. Of course this is
something that Western science cannot fathom out at all but nevertheless, I
decided to open my heart and mind to shamanic teachings
During three years, and working with over twenty different shaman, I have
learnt their secret and been shown the different realities which exist to all
if only we would open our eyes to the possibilities. Discovering what I could
only initially term as “alien intelligence”, I knew from then on that my work
would be guided. Interestingly, most of the pyramid designs were received
during or just after shamanic ceremony
“Personal Development”
Life Mastery University
UK, US, Fiji, Egypt, Peru (22nd June 2002 – Present)
Personal Development is the continued commitment to improve
oneself in any aspect in order to try to be a better person. I started
with the physical and in the gymnasium. I slowly became an expert on
nutrition and went on to perform cleanses of all my body organs; kidneys,
liver, bowels even the toxic mercury from my teeth!
As one becomes more knowledgeable on health, particularly the virtues of
natural medicine, one cannot help but become more concerned for institutions
such as the Food and Drugs Administration (F.D.A.) The question that
arises is this; are the systems that it employs (to check the safety of new
foods and drugs), in anyway susceptible to misguided motivations? It is
my concern that market pressure rather than health safety has infiltrated their
systems and so I have been led to reject most foods and medicines believing
that the natural ways are the safest
I am grateful to all the work of Tony Robbins especially in the areas of
motivation, emotional well being, positivism etc. I studied his approaches to
life and graduated from his “Life Mastery University” after completing the last
stage in Fiji in 2006. I also read many books seeking inspiration from
the great masters such as Napoleon Hill and Paulo Coelho amongst others
Altho I am no follower of any organised
religion, my spiritual development remains a major priority in my life. I
believe that personal integrity is key to a healthy
life. Personal development never ends, and I continue to strive to be the
best version of myself that I can comprehend
“18 Years I.T. Career”
Inform Information Systems, Maidenhead UK (1998 - March 2005)
Hays Document Exchange, Iver UK (1996 - 1998)
Aspen Field Marketing Ltd, Maidenhead UK (1994 - 1996)
Econocruise Ltd, Rugby UK (1987 - 1994)
My interest in computers began from the age of 12 and I consider
it a great fortune that I grew up during the Information Revolution.
Having the kind of mind that can focus intensely on a problem, a proven
mathematical background and a passion for logic, I was able to impress many
companies from an early age with my talent for programming computers. I
tended to resist promotion into management and preferred a hands-on, technical
career. In this way my work became very
specialised, particularly in the field of databases
Towards the end of my I.T. career I was traveling to
different places in the world and working through IIS for the oil company
ExxonMobil. I led the IIS team that designed and transferred all the
customer master data from Exxon’s legacy downstream retail systems into their
new SAP system, a mammoth task that was completed on time and successfully
I enjoyed my I.T. career, worked with some great people and solved
some of the most difficult problems for the industry. I left in March 2005
because I wanted to dedicate my life to something different
“Education”
Northampton (Aged 5-11)
Rugby (Aged 12-18)
Portsmouth Polytechnic (Aged 18-19)
Reading University (Mature student 2006)
I always enjoyed school, was well liked and was a grade A
student. My favourite subjects were Mathematics and Art. At aged 9
I was the chess champion of my school and represented my town. Later on I
also represented my town in cross country running
At 16 I passed all of my exams (except French) and consider I had a very good
all round education. I went on to do A’ levels and achieved a grade A Advanced level in Mathematics. At Polytechnic I
learnt more about social life than anything academic and I left early to begin
my I.T. career where the computers were bigger and sexier
At the age of 36 I again had the fortune to spend time at University, this time Reading. I studied Artificial Intelligence and I became particularly interested in the application of Artificial Evolution which I pitted against the Stock Market. I concluded however, that there is more to evolution than we currently understand – that anything beyond optimisation takes more than random mutation to improve it’s species and speculated that an external, intelligent force is required to govern evolution. This kind of thinking is certainly not on the syllabus
